Celebrar, apoyar y defender los derechos de las mujeres es una responsabilidad que debe estar presente todos los días del año, ya que el camino por recorrer hasta conseguir la igualdad, aún es muy largo. Por este motivo el Día Internacional de la Mujer tiene una función importante, y es la de ser el recordatorio de una lucha que no puede cesar.
Sin embargo, es frecuente escuchar el siguiente mensaje en nuestra sociedad:
“Pero si las cosas han cambiado mucho a día de hoy, las mujeres ya tienen los mismos derechos que los hombres”.
